what isASTHMA
Asthma is a common and potentially serious chronic
disease that imposes various burdens and
symptoms to patients. It causes the airways to
narrow and swell and trigger difficulty in breathing.
There is currently no cure for asthma, but there are
certain methods and medications available
to help control it.
what isCOPD
Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) is a
common lung disease causing restricted airflow and
breathing problems. Sometimes called emphysema
or chronic bronchitis, smoking and air pollution are
the most common causes of COPD. People with
COPD are at higher risk of other health problems,
according to the WHO.
